THREE THINGS THAT HAPPY PEOPLE DO

All of us have that friend or family member that is 100% sunshine – that person that always makes us feel better when we’re with them because their happiness rubs off on us. And we think, “How can I be more like them?” I have found that happy people tend to have these three things in common:

1. They forgive. You can’t hold a grudge against someone and be happy. That grudge will eat at you until you’re able to let it go. Is there something you’re holding on to that you could let go?

2. They are social. Spending time with those you care about and that care about you will automatically lift your spirits. Have you spent time with that special someone in your life lately – spouse, family member or longtime friend?

3. They are optimistic. Look on the bright side (there is always a bright side). Focusing on what’s good about any situation will ultimately make you happier than if you focus on the negative.

I encourage you to apply these tactics and see if you feel happier. And if you do, let me know about it!
